Scale-X magnetic fluid conditioners (MFC's) provides a cost effective and efficient scale and sludge control / elimination system.  It stops scale from forming in pipes, vessels, tanks, pumps and valves by elevating the surface charge on the scale forming crystals.  This modifies the scale forming crystal growth patterns in general and on specific planes resulting in the control of molecular bonding and molecular aggregation.  The result is a change in the characteristics of the scale forming crystals, such that the crystals no longer exhibit the property of adhering, "sticking", to the walls of the pipes and vessels and therefore do not form scale build-ups.

Scale-X MFC's are not a "cure all" for all fluid scale build up problems, however, experience has shown that they are suitable for application in treating water and a range of other inorganic and organic scaling problems.

The Scale-X MFC's are installed at specific locations in the process to maximise their effectiveness.  Existing scale deposits will be removed progressively.

Product Range

Design of Scale-X MFC's range from applications applied externally to pipes (clamp on type units), to applications installed internally to pipes and/or vessels and also to units that are flanged into pipes depending on the particular configuration of the process system and the materials the systems is constructed of.  Other factors such as temperature, pressure and fluid dynamics determine the type of MFC used.  These devices can incorporate vortex breaker and inlet diffuser functions.  When the process system fluid dynamics are outside of the operating range of defined parameters values for magnetic fluid treatment to function, velocity amplifiers and flow profilers are incorporated into the Scale-X MFC's to maximise the interaction of the fluid flow vector and magnetic gradient.
 

Scale-X MFC technology is based on sound and effective scientific principles.  The US Department of Energy has endorsed the use of magnetic fluid treatment as a technology that is effective in the control of scale build up.  Details are contained in the accompanying US Federal Technology Alerts report entitled "Non-Chemical Technologies for Scale and Hardness Control".
