To
make a valued assessment of the appropriate application of Scale-X
MFC’s
to your fluid process system, it is essential that we receive appropriate process data from each site on which to
make a recommendation, as applications tend to be case-specific.
This should include the relevant information from the following listing.
Complete the relevant questionnaire(s) from the choices below, attach a schematic diagram(s) of the fluid process
system indicating the problem areas to be treated and any other relevant
information not included in the questionnaire.
Typical
Information Required for Specifying Scale-X MFC's
There are many variables which affect this
technology and some or all of the following information is required to specify
the size, strength, design configuration, number and location of the Scale-X
magnetic fluid conditioners for a particular process system:
-
Schematic diagram showing the layout of the
system, including all process vessels and function of each vessel, valve,
control device, etc...
-
Range and type of products being treated
-
Pipe diameters prior to entry to, and exit from,
each vessel
-
Length of fluid flow in calandrias and heat
exchangers
-
Length of fluid flow between vessels and/or
valving and control devices, etc...
-
Temperature at entry to, and exit from each vessel
-
Temperature differential across tube walls
-
Pressure differential of product input to output
pressure for each vessel and/or control device such as control valves,
orifices, etc...
-
Fluid flow rates (fluid velocity or litres/sec)
into each vessel, control device, etc...
-
Fluid concentration levels
-
Length (duration) of process runs between cleans
to remove scale and details of cleaning regime.
-
Details of where, and by how much the equipment
is scaled up (thickness of scale), and the type of scale, that is, the chemical
composition of the scale
-
Hardness of the scale (hard or soft)
-
Is flow constant or batch
-
Rate of scale formation (time to build up the
measured thickness)
-
What are the operational objectives of installing Scale-X
MFC’s.
